Thanks for registering to participate in the 5th Annual Women's Winter Freeze Tournament. Registration will stay open until Friday, so if you have any friends or teammates that want to participate, there's still time.
Both the skills clinic and the tournament will be held on Burbank 19 and 20. Check-in will be under the pavilion nearest those fields.
If you signed up for the skills clinic, it begins at 10 am. Please try to get there a little early so that we are able to start on time.
Check-in for the tournament begins at 12:30 pm and games will begin at 1.
Please bring a red and white shirt.
Water, powerade, and fruit will be available at the fields.
If you're participating in both, bring a lunch and hang out between. We'll have some food out at the fields too. See you Saturday.
The 5th Annual Women’s Winter Freeze Soccer Tournament has been rescheduled to Saturday, March 6th, 2010 at the Burbank Soccer Complex beginning with check-in at 12:30 and wrapping up play by 5:00. Any female age 18 and above is eligible to participate... and all levels of experience are welcome!
Game format will be 8 v 8 with a single referee, 15 minute halves, and using Over-30 rules. Teams will be created from the pool of registered players and will be distributed as evenly as possible based upon age, skill level and years of experience. However, all team assignments will be random - no team requests will be possible. Players should bring both a red and white shirt to wear as uniforms.
Drawings for door prizes will be held throughout the tournament and refreshments will be provided.
NEW THIS YEAR will be a skills clinic for those players wishing to improve their game. This clinic will be held from 10:00 to 11:30 and will be taught by a licensed BRSA coach. The tournament will follow with check-in at 12:30.
Please come out and join us! This is a fun day of soccer to hang out with other women in the league, compete in a short-sided tournament, and win some great door prizes. Best of all, it's FREE!
